Hello. I recently acquired a pair of Crate bass cabs with some cool pop-in (not T-nut) casters. Where can I get casters like these for my other cabinets (besides my Kustoms; they already have the awesome hodded chrome balls on them Cool )? Thanks!

I found a company that I now use and in fact will now retail called the Master Caster Company out of Cleveland. They sell the reissue style Kustom Caster but they do offer it in a pop in version, too cool! They sent me a neat little crossreference chart so the stem can be matched correctly, or you can purchase the optional pop in base plate. Let me know if I can get you some.................KUSTOM is Still (and always will be)KING!!!

Parts express sells the same pop in style, but note that what ever cab you use this type in, the female end must be fully seated to hold up in use. In most cabs this will mean gluing in 4 wood blocks to take the hole lenght of the female seat.

Hello. Those casters are designed to be removed and re-installed repeatedly correct? I've seen some pop-in casters designed for table legs that mount with a pop-in bracket, yet are intended to be permanent. I, obviously, am more interested in a removable one for versatility's sake. Thanks!
