Many times folks find the one single channel of the K100-2 too darn brite , but there is a simple mod that can be done to bypass the treble boost circuit and have it sound like the normal channel of the k100-1 amp.

The deal is to lift c114 and r127 where it connects to the Emitter ( output ) of Q105, then lift the negative end of c119 off the board and then just jump the output of Q105 to the lifted end of c119 and your Golden!
