Picking up a 150 head on Sunday that the owner say "has an issue. When you try to play it"
System is separate head and speaker cabs. I have a fully functional 250 head. Wondering if the 250 will fit in the 150's cabinet. That way I'll have a working system while I sort out the "issue" with the 150.

Oh yeah, it's a 2-12G in BLUE

Thanks,

The 250 head is some 3 inches longer so it will not fit.

Thanks Steve. My brain is getting foggy in my old age. They sent me a picture about two minutes ago and Counting the pleats it became obvious. Can't wait to get it here. Same blue sparkle as the one I had in '68. The cabs look pristine on it.I have the 250 along with a few more that have migrated my way over the past six months including a 150 combo that I love the sound of. My herd is growing and my wife says I got to get back on the bench and thin the herd down.

I am guessing that the Molexes will need cleaned and the pots. Thanks again for the info. I will be on the tech board with it if I run into any roadblocks.
Oh yes, it is a 2-12G-2 with the trem and reverb

Be carful plugging the Connectors back in especially the one on the driver board as I have had a few of them with not so great solder connections on the bottom of it and if the ground of those 3 wires on the driver goes intermittent you will blow that board.
