I just picked up a charcoal K150 PA. It's in good cosmetic shape but amp has some issues. One is the power switch. I also need a schematic if anyone can help.

Thanks,
Carl

Hi.
Power switches can not be had, so you have two ways to deal with the problem.
1) most times its the plastic threaded shaft of the switch that brakes off and the switch will not stay pulled up against its mounting bracket. what I have done in one of my K250s is to smiply use two small nylon cable ties to keep the switch pulled up to the mount.
This has lasted some 24 years on my amp and is good quick fix.
2) if the switch itself does on work then you need to get a DPDT metal shaft toggle switch and mount it onto the original braket. It will bolt right on but the only problem with this is you loose the light that the original switch had.
Also make sure to get a switch rated for atlest 5 amps.
Most of these amps had the schematic gluded to the inside lid of the amp, so if you slide the chassie out of the cabinet and renove the lid you may find that you have one.
If you find you have no schematics I can atlest help you out with the one for the output stage as I have that one.
