A very useful tool! I can't imagine how much effort it took to compile such a chart. We all benefit. Thanks

Some cabinets have them....some don't....but you will usually find them in the lower right corner as you face the back of the cabinet.BC

...hey Les, was that you that had a 'secret serial # chart' of the numbers that are inscribed on the frame rails of the tuck & roll heads that actually indicated the day, month, and year of production?...I've seen mention of it made here somewhere but can't find it for the life of me now...let me know o.k.?...thanks, Rick...

Hey Rick,
That post is back on page four - the last posting was 3/8/04.

Kustom put those production date codes (handwritten) on the top frame of every Kustom amplifier made.
But there are problems - they are sometimes hard to read plus Kustom kept changing the code.

Send me your info and I'll give it a shot:
a) model number
b) serial number
c) all the pot codes
d) the handwritten numbers/letters on the top frame of amplifier.

I really appreciate any production code numbers that people send me.
I have actually bought amps to build my serial number chart.
Everytime that I get dating info on an amp I adjust the serial number chart - so it will become more and more accurate as time goes on.

thanks,
Les S.
