Hello. I own and use a few Kustom CTS loaded bass cabs and was wondering, which side of the speaker does the positive and negative wire connect since they are unlabeled? In my friends 2x15 cabs, when the terminals are facing towards the ground, the red positive wire goes on the right with the black on the left and they work great (you may see in another one of my posts "100 series 1x15 interior insulation" that i mentioned one of them being out of phase until i flipped around the wires as described). My 100 series cab i noticed though has the red wire on the left and the black on the right. The speaker sounds fine, but is it wired properly? Thanks!

HI, they should be marked, AS you look at the connection point you have the steel tab that comes off the frame of the speaker, then you have a piece off insulative materal that supports each terminal, on that supportive materal there should be stamped a + on one side and a - on the other. If not go to radio get a bag of 9 volt battery terminals, go home, plug a 9 volt in and hook it to the speaker. LOOK FOR THE CONE TO MOVE OUT, ON IN.Which ever terminal the red lead is on when the cone moves out is positive.Note, THE SPEAKER WILL MAKE A LOUD CLICK SOUND WHEN YOU HOOK THE BATTERY UP, IT WILL NOT HURT THE SPEAKER.

Hello. I turned on the amp and played through the cabinet this morning while shining a flashlight through the grille and i noticed that the speaker is actually wired correctly; the cone moved out, it's just weird that the wiring is backwards of my friend's speakers, which were made in the same year. Thanks for the help!
