So I've had a Kustom amp almost all my life and I never really knew what I had or what it's worth.

The plate on the back has the following info...

Kustom
Chanute, Kansas
Model. CHALL
Serial No. 101493
Pat No. 210,129

From this, can you give me any info on what I have and its value?

Thanks!

You could search eBay for completed auctions .

I would check with Guitar Center or MusicGoRound........pricing there is more realistic than Ebay. Most people who post on there have an inflated belief on what they have is worth.....probably why the posting are on there for months and months unless its a rarity or priced reasonably. Reverb is another site, but they have inflated prices as well. Good luck.

Thanks for the input. I am not looking to sell it, just got curious as to its year of make and value.

It still sounds great and love playing on it. If I think about it, I'll post links to photobucket with pictures of it.

According to your serial number your amp was born between Jan and March 1973.

another factor would be condition, as such is the case with everything. Of course we all know this point is subjective.
