Hi,
I bought a house about 3 years ago from an old (95yo) musician. He went to a retirement home so we got the house with all the furniture intact.
Most of it was pretty old and crappy, but there were a few gems that stood out and we kept them.
One of those gems was a Kustom amp (head and cab) and i'm thinking of selling it as I never use it.
The Head is a Kustom III-L serial# 142555
The Cab is a Kustom 4-12 L serial# 98117
How do i find out when these were made?
Also does anyone have any idea on what these are worth these days?
I've plugged it in and cranked it up and it seems to work great.
Cosmetically is a little worn and old but still in reasonable condition.

Wow a Kustom from down under, or maybe where down under dependant on how we ride in the Milky Way, lol!
Anyhow , I do not have my serial number chart handy, but from what I recall I think your amp was born in 1975.
I will check for sure later for you!
Seeing as the amp has not been on in a long time I would turn it on and just let it sit and idle for 6 to 8 hours which will help out some of the circuit parts.

Well the effects would have had to be turned off on the fly by means of a foot switch, for answeris on controllers you would do best to send Pleat a pm if he does not see this post in a day or two.

Yes the lead amps from that era did include a 2 button foot switch to turn off either the reverb or the tremolo. jack on the back of the amp for the pedal is a 1/4" stereo, so replacement two button pedal can be found easily at any music store. The switches are push on, push off. Momentary foot switches won't work.
