There is definitely something to be said about the Super Sound series
of Kustoms. I have a Hustler and it is probably the most quiet, cleanest
sounding amp of all my Kustoms. Good luck with this one!

Both Pleat and I use a RP-1 lol! I have a full Risson Tube stack and it just sits, it will do 240 watts, 120 watts or 80 watts and sounds better than any Marshall, but it is big and heavy to lug around. I used to think bigger was better until I threw a K50 on the stage with my pedal in front of it and it cuts through the mix and isn't a lazer pointer like a Marshall 4 x 12 cab. I liked my over driven tube distortion as well, but if you take an amp that is very clean and then add effects, it is amazing what you can do. I even did the 4 wire deal with the effects loop and all of that stuff with my tube amps. Trust me, try this out and you will be amazed! That 25 watt amp will make a Marshall stack cry...lol! My Rhythm player has a Mesa and loves my Kustom so much that he wants one now!
