There is a Kustom K250 model K250-1 Head and a Kustom cab 2-15 B for sale near me.
This is a bass set-up right?
Can it be used for guitar?

The -1 head is just the non effects head and both the -1 and-2 have the same preamps and output sections.

The -1 head also has about 8 more watts of clean power since it's available power supply current is not being eaten up by the effects circuitry.

That cab is the Bass model and might be a little mellow sounding for you unless you use the brite switch that each channel has.

Either way with 2-15" you will have clean punch like you never heard before and you can always change out the speakers to suite you better if need be.

Thank you for the info.
What make of speakers would have been in that unit 2-15B? Jensen?
Could you please answer my question in the parts suggestion thread about reverb tank ohm values.

The standard Bass speakers would have been CTS brand and in some of the later ones KEI.

Up grade optional would have been Altec or JBL.

Jensens would have been used in the non Bass cabs and the model on mounting lip of those speakers was C15L

Hook up that reverb tank you have and see if it will provide you with enough reverb.

The input side of the tank needs to be near the power transformer otherwise you will get 60 hz hum when you turn up the reverb.
Please report back on how it is.

The 2-15B would be CTS bass speakers. The guitar version would be 2-15G and would use KEI speakers.
