I'm probably gonna be needing these for repair work on this head. I was a bit confused by a search that I did and never did figure it out. So - if you got some or can direct me to some, I will appreciate it. Cool

Hey stevem - The odd thing is, the plate on the back of the head does not have a model # filled in, imprinted or stamped. Just smooth and blank. The serial # is there and perfectly clear. The whole plate is in excellent condition - just no model #. But - looking at my catalogue from that year, this is the description under the picture of the one like mine - MODEL 2-12G-2. I'm assuming the 2 after the 2-12G signifies that it has Tremelo, Vibrato and Reverb, since the description above this one is shown as MODEL 2-12G-1 and does not have the Tremelo, Vibrato and Reverb. Hope this helps, and hey-thanks for yours. Cool

Two issues - the tremelo, speed and vibrato stopped working and it's developed a fairly bad buzz (ground issue) recently. I was advised in a thread from last week that the tremelo, speed and vibrato worked with the reverb "board." The reverb is working fine. I'm pretty much a novice at anything other than fairly simple stuff on repairs. Cool

The basic 3 models of 150 Kustom heads are:
Model 1-No FX
Model 2-Reverb and Trem/Vibrato
Model 4-Reverb, Trem/Vibrato, Fuzz and Selective Boost

So that makes your amp a Model 2.

Have you opened up the amp yet? Usually the schematics for the metal front amps has been glued to the top cover panel.

If it's not there look at the PC boards and tell us the numbers of the boards that you have.

To clarify, there were no K150- heads offered with fuzz and selective boost. The K250 series offered the fuzz and selective boost. The K150 slant face amps offered two models, one without effects and one with effects.

As I mentioned, pretty novice on many things on this. Where do I find the numbers on or for the PC board? Also, schematics inside the housing are gone. Thanks. Cool

If you look at the pc boards the numbers are etched into the board on the copper trace side. If you take a flashlight and shine it between the board and the chassis, you will probably be able to read the number through the pc board material.

And Pleat is correct as usual there were no 150-4's, only 1 and 2 models. I was thinking of the 250 series.
