Hi,

Missing one of the metal feet on my "new" 300 PA.
If anyone has one of those to sell I'd be a happy camper.

(Leg stand would be even cooler, but guess the shipping to Sweden would be no fun.)

Is the leg screwed in or is it nailed in........I have both and take them off my amps since they tend to put indentations on the tuck & roll?

The amp end of it is screwed in. See picture.
Haven't even considered taking them off, but I guess that would be an option when not having any legs to put on.
But I actually like the look of the mount itself...

Sorry, thought you were talking about the legs on the bottom of the cabinet. I do have one of those as well but am looking at a couple more amp heads so can't part with it just yet.......but its next to impossible to find a stand for those amps. If you haven't found one by the first of the year, let me know....by then I can let you know if I still need it or not.

I will definitely take You up on that.
Getting a stand for it would be super cool (although a little afraid of what freight to Sweden would cost.)

What I'm mostly missing though is one of the little metal cup feet just on the bottom of the amp.
I have 3, which is just one to few... A little rattly (which makes for interesting sound effects with the reverb.) Wink
If anyone have one of these I'm very interested.

If your not concerned about keeping it absolutely original, you can go to any online cabinet hardware catalog and purchase 4 new metal caps. I do have these as well and I take them off of my amps since they will leave rust stains on the tuck and roll. Thought about cleaning them up and shooting them with silver paint but I don't like the indentations they leave in the speaker cabinet. Guess they could also be re-chromed if someone wanted to keep it original

I actually am building a wire/conduit mobile unit to put my PA amps on. I am using the wire shelving that go into closets and then reinforcing the bottom of the shelves with 1/2 conduit that has a threaded rod going all the way thru it to mount on 3/4 inch conduit that make up the sides. The shelves are set at an angle so the amps won't fall out. Then I will attach casters on the ends of the side poles to make it mobile. Could also be built with wood, but steel conduit will be lighter and since the wire shelves are already white, will shoot all the conduit in white as well. My PA system will contain 3 amp heads. K400 with a K300 to drive the (4) 3-15 cabinets and the 2 individual Altec horns, and then a k200 that will run my 595 monitor speakers.

Here's a place where you can get the metal glides for the bottom of the amps/cabinets. Not exact, but close to the originals.

Good tip! Thanks!

Cheapest shipping to Sweden is 3 x the cost of one foot...Laughing
But the total price is quite ok for having a complete amp again.
Might as well get 4 so not to have to swear about subtle height differences...

I guess I should check the local hardware stores/websites before ordering.
There just might be perfectly good ones right around the corner...
