I just recently aquired a K 150-5 pa head and the output is labeled 8 ohm for single and 16 ohm for a parallel load and I was wondering if I could damage the amp by using a cabinet with a 4 ohm load? --- This is also the first Kustom that I have seen with the anti-feedback feature and also a master for volume and reverb. Can anybody tell me a little bit about the anti-feedback control? --- Thanks, Will

You'll overheat the amp using 4 ohm if it asks for 8.
Not a good idea.

You can run it at 4 ohms if you do not play the amp up at more than about 10:30 to 11 oclock on the volume control.

At a 4 ohm load the amp will run twice as hot at any giving volume level when compaired to a 8 ohm load.

In short, the normal heat load when the amp outputs 75 watts at 8 ohms will be reached with only a 35 watt output at 4 ohms.

Placing a good size window fan blowing on to the rear of the amp at low speed will allow you to play the amp up to between 12 and one with out over heating it.

The Anti feedback controls can be looked at like a master overall tone control that has been set up to work in the frequency range(s)where most all mic feedback happens.
