Hi, I have an old Kustom PA BC that I use with friends on a regular basis and it works fine. I'm looking for some info on the various inputs on it though...
Echo loop?
is this the same as an effects loop? I'm looking to run a feedback eliminatior through the PA an thought this would be the place to do it.
Power amp switch?
This switch says in/out...I have no idea what it does.
various sends on the front?
some say mains some say monitor...
Mostly looking for help hooking up the feedback machine as a new guy that is singing likes to move around and it really leads to some horrible squealing.
Thanks
Rusty

Yes, you could patch in any guitar pedal as its a High Impeadance in and out circuit.
Make note that with any sort of feedback problem the amount of control you have will depend to a large degree on all the mic`s you run beening the same.
Different type mic`s have different frequency responces and different output levels at different frequencys so a setting on a feed back limiter that may leave the system still sounding and working good for one mic might leave others sounding like crap!
Also for the largest amount of clean head room before clipping you should run the master volume near wide open if the board has such control, you may get a bit more hiss noise out of the system at idle volume, but thats better than distortion on loud peaks smaking people in the face!
