Hey all,
First let me say that its great to find a site with all the vintage Kustom info. The schematic section is fantastic, but I am having trouble finding one in particular. The number PC5149 crossover. I have been reverse engineering the board for a few days now, but seems I am missing something. I pulled this crossover from a Kustom power amp, but I cannot remember for the life of me the part number on the amp. I used to have a pair of these amps, that had the built in crossover. I repaired these amps many times back in the 80's, before finally throwing them out, and still have some of the replacement RCA transistors (Yes, not one of my wiser decisions throwing them out) I also had a Kustom 12 channel mixer, that had huge wood ends. Thing must have weighed a thousand pounds. This made for a nice system, when ran through the right cabinets. I gave the mixer to a friend, with all the original schematics.
If anyone has a schematic for the PC5149, it might give me an "Ahh Ahh" moment in recreating this crossover.
Thanks

Thanks Steve, I will try to call him today or Monday for sure. Its quite possible this is the same guy I got my schematics from back in the 90's, but I lost all my contact information. I did finish reverse engineering the board last night, took me a while to figure out what the Kustom engineers were thinking. I always liked the functionality of this crossover, and I plan on making a identical one.
