In the picture section of Chanute supplied by Pleat there is a BIG BIG PA. Does anyone know for certain any history on these cabinets.....or where they may be? I keep thinking of FLIPP being the largest act using Kustom as far as I know...and They should have such a creature!
Now, are there any Fogerty fans out there who happen to know what cabinet and speakers he prefered in his Kustoms?
Still begging for answers! BC!

Brad, I don't know where the kustom made cabinets are today, but the one's you are asking about were made for the 71 or 72 grammy awards. Each cabinet had 2 JBL 15" speakers and each speaker was driven by the K250 power module. In those days each cabinet boasted 250 watts rms with the twin JBL horns wich also use two power modules for each horn box. Also but not pictured were 3 monitor cabinets boasting 24 8" speakers and 6 10" speakers. In one picture of the back side of the cabinets are Bob Brinkman the kustom service manager and Ray Breimayer the owner of the store I worked at back then. Bob is the best. Bob was with Bud from the beginning. I think it would be great if he and Bud came together at the nashville show in December. Kustom was selling off the cabinets when I was there, and I know it was more 5 grand at the time. I would like to find out just what happened to the system myself. Hope this sheds some light on the subject. Don
