Hello. The bass wont harm the amp at all, just make sure you have the correct kind of speakers in the cabinet. If you look inside the cab or sometimes just at the outside front of the speaker, you can tell what kind you have. The bass cabs usually had CTS, JBL D140F's or Altec 421 speakers in them. If you look through the literature section of this site, you'll probably find what you're using, and if it sounds good for bass, it's probably meant for it. I have a Jensen loaded guitar 2x15 cab and it doesn't push very much if any bass compared to a cab with, for example, CTS speakers; my friend has a pair of CTS 2x15's and with my K200 they seriously PUMP, so the Jensens only get used for guitar (I don't want to blow them up either...). So, long story not so short, you're probably fine with your current setup. Just for fun, try a 200 or 250 head and see if you like it more; they have more power to push the low frequencies harder and a few have the "selectone" feature. I have it on my K200 and it sounds awesome, it really gives you some different textures. Then again, if what you have ain't broke, don't fix it! Have fun and keep playing it loud! (it's more fun that way )
