Were the K-25 and K-50 amps made to run at 8 ohms? or was it 16 ohms? (I know they came with a 16 ohm speaker.) -LesS

They did come with a 16 ohm Jensen c12-N standard. I would say that if Bud put a 16 ohm speaker in there, then it must be for a good reason. I have played through both with an 8 ohm speaker and they sound like they are working a bit harder than with a 16 ohm, more noiser THD... I think it may be the wise thing to stay with a 16 ohm, but that's just my advice. Rolling Eyes
