Does anyone have or know of a complete, matched K400 system? Particularly one that has 4 2x15 cabs or maybe a K400 PA with 4 3x15 sirens. I'm not talking about one put together after the fact, but a MATCHED system? Just wondering.

In seven years of hard Kustom hunting I have only encountered two that I was certain were original! Both were bass setups with two 3x15 CTS cabinets. One of them was listed here in the classifieds by the original owner. Considering the cost of these amps new,I do not think many were sold. Pleat should jump in here now.....he was selling them way back when!BC Cool

I've only been familiar with one bass K400 with the pair of 3X15s. Never seen another known matched set. I only know that was a set because I was aware of the history. Back in about '78, one owner was actually poisoned by his own brother in an attempt to steal this set. The owner and the rig both recovered.

been dreamin tuck n roll since I was all of 13 yrs old...remember seeing several regional groups when I was younger that played all kustom..or mostly kustom w/some fender mixed in...never saw an actuall 400 rig on stage...and never saw one offered for sale in any of the stores that were kustom dealers.

Chip Coleman has/had a cascade 400 head on a pair of 3x15 cabs...I know he swapped the chasis out but I believe the housing and the cabs came together..could be wrong.
