Just hook an LED in series with a 470 ohm resistor and connect that across the speaker leads. The current will be so small that it won't make any difference. If you want more than one, then hook the LEDs in series, observing polarity (+ to -) and reduce the resistance accordingly. If you use 2 volts per LED, it depends on the color, at 30 milliamps, and the maximum output voltage is 20 volts. The formula would be (20 - 2)/.03 = 600 ohms. Then I would use the next lower value found at Radio Shack. For every LED added the voltage would go from 2 to 4 to 6 and so on. 10 LED's would be the maximum in any string but they might not light at lower volumes. The maximum number I would use would be 4 in each port. Then the resistance would be calculated at 400 ohms. The next standard size would be 330 ohms. The resistors should be 1/2 watt. You certainly won't hurt the amp.
