After coming across a few vintage T&R amps on eBay I stumbled on this site and was so inspired that I picked up two sweet things. The first is a blac K-100 with the single D-140F and the second is '72 (?) K150-8 SC 4-10, ser 80816. The odd thing about the SC is that it has no casters, only the metal button "feet." Was this typical of that model/year? Were casters optional towards the end of the Chanute operation? I would like to put the casters on as the buttons are very rusted and have seen them on both eBay and the postings recommending Grainger. What do you think, casters or no? As for the speakers, are those CTS or Jensen? They have the silver dust caps without the black hole/dot in the middle. Any other thoughts or comments on the amp? The T&R is near mint!

Great site! I'm glad to be aboard. Oh, and having grown up in Kansas I know that Bud put that little town of Chanute on the map. They still talk about him with great pride.
