I'm new to this site and hopefully can gain some insight to my gear. I'm looking to purchase some replacement speakers, and have a couple questions about the Amp.

Its a Kasino 200 (4-10) 100watt 200rms Single Channel (High/low) w/Selectone + footswitchable drive/tone.

It has two 'to module' 1/4 female plugs and two female power plugs in the back of the amp.

The module has two 'module input' and two power plugs as well. The front of the module says 200 and has 4-10's as well.

Questions:
1. The speakers are heavy heavy heavy. Appear to be wired series-parallel. Can anyone make a 'best' recommedation for replacement speakers ?
2. Does anyone have modules for sale ? Ever even SEEN one ?
3. The footswitch 1/4 input on the front of the amp has never been used. Is it an effects return or line-in or does it 'switch' the 'drive/tone' (which is really weird/bad) ? Any recommendations or 'tricks' for footswitch use ?

Thanks !

Hi,When you say female power plugs do you mean a/c plugs?. If so, then the two 1/4" jacks are for sending signal to two more power amp modules, and the a/c outlets are for powering them up.As for speakers do you want what would be the closest replacment to the originals, or the best 10"ers for guitar? The jack on the front I would guess is for switching those functions on or off, anything that would be a effects in or out would be labled so.

Thanks. I's like the best 10's for amp matching. I play both Fenders and Gibsons. Although I do fire off a few leads every now and then - I'm really a rythm player. I like the sound fat and full with plenty of punch.

The female's are power; a/c in parallel off the main a/c input. So it looks like two a/c power and line-level outputs out the back to string powered modules.

The speakers appear to be 16 ohm wired series parallel 100w each. Do you know or recommend a replacement? It sound as though you would have a recommendation 'other' than the official replacement speakers. These have lasted all these years and are now just starting to sound a little ...

If I can find another module I would be very interested in a puchase. I'd rather have another 4-10 module. I've seen a couple big 8-10 and 8-12 units but they really are tool big for me for weekly gigs. I'd only consider buying those for parts.

Thanks !

Do you know of any other good Kasino resources ?

Thanks !
