I bought this head a few years ago for $10 because it was "broken". Turns out it was a blown fuse haha, $.50 fix to the rescue. Anyways I've been trying to find information on these heads online with no luck. I tried e-mailing Kustom and they directed me to this page.

All I know about this head is it's supposedly 100W, 2 channel and has an actual spring reverb tank. There isn't any numbers on the amp except the model number (TRT-100) and the number 0278. I'm wanting to sell this head and would like some information before I do so.

When were these heads made? What did they sell for new and what is mine worth? It looks brand new, turns on and powers up just fine, no flaws that I can (although the distortion channel is VERY lacking).

Hello and welcome!
Your TRT 100 is not a vintage Kustom amp, I have the same head and matching 4-12" speaker cabinet in red.
These so called reissues showed up in late 1999 to 2000 and where made for only a few years and in a low production amount from what I have be able to determin.
These heads are all tube but for the reverb driver and recovery stage which is solid state.
These amps sold new retail for 700 plus dollars although I picked up mine from the muscians friend folks where they where trying to clear their shelves of them for 400 bucks.
The fuse you replaed most likly blew from one of the 4 6L6GC output tubes having a short, these shorts could be perminent or intermitant so be advised that the fuse may blow again if the output tube(s) creating the problem is not found.
I have the manule and schematic for these amps should you want/need a copy. I can scan it and email it to you.
I hope this info helps!

Thanks for the info! I'm not a huge fan of the head and I'm wanting to sell it on Craigslist... what should I list it for? Like I said it's in great shape and plays fine and it's wrapped in Silver.
