HI. If I am not mistaken, Its been over a year since I had mine opened up. There are 4 12ax7s internal to the amp and 1 12ax7 on the back of the head.If you want some of the best info around, go to TUBE AMP BLUEPRINTING.COM, and down lodad (its worth the price) the tube primer part 1 and 2. or just read it off the site. You will need to read it twice if not more to let it sink in, but you will have a whole new out look on quality tubes and there sound. Be sure read the reveiws there also for 12ax7s and 6l6 tubes, or go to the(watford valves site and find the reveiws)
