I recently purchased a very nice 3-12 black cabinet w/Jensen's. I intend to use it for bass, and I know that the Jensen's are guitar speakers. I was browsing the old literature the other day and noticed that Kustom offered a 2-12 + 2-10 cabinet in the same cab as the 3-12. This started me thinking - "what if"?? I did some measuring - and see that, yes indeed - 2-10's will fit horizonally. My original plan was to purchase another cabinet (a 2-15) so I could use both of my heads (K200-B1 & K200B5). I also have 2 brand-new Eminence Delta 12's in 8 ohm that I could use. All I would need would be a couple of 10's, some new grill cloth, an additional jack and plate, and construct a new baffle board.I have had the cabinet completely apart - so I know how it all works. I have limited space to store my gear, so this would be a good deal for me. I seem to remember that in this type of factory cabinet - the 10's were sectioned off from the 12's, and rear vented. I would not do this if I do the conversion. I think that it should sound good - what do you fellows think ??

I think some good glue to make sure the center support braces are secured to the baffle board, then when the back is screwed in place you have have a strong bracing for the cab. The original 2x10" over the 2x12"s the 10" were seperated inside the cab and vented in the rear. The 2x12" used the ports to vent that part of the cabinet. Since your using all speakers for bass, it will be interesting to see how it sounds, and it will for sure look great on stage with T&R.
