Power light dims with tremelo throb and when hitting heavy note/chord. Is this normal or an indication of a problem? Thank you all by the way for your responses and help with Kustom issues. I have a Frank bass head that I play upgraded USA Peavey Predator Strat copy and Reactor Tele copy guitars through and it sounds amazing! This new to me K150 is the reason I'm buying a vintage T&R 2x12 8 ohm cab off craigslist. My Frank plugs into a 70's Peavey 15" 4 ohm Black Widow cab

That's fairly common and normal for all Kustom amps. The pilot lamps are powered by the dc voltage that also supplies the rest of the amp. So when you hit a power chord, the power amp draws a lot of current causing the power supply voltage to sag a little.

Those black widow drivers only go up to 2k or so, do you really get enough high end out of them for your use?

It measures 3.9 ohms and produces full spectrum sound powered by the frank head. Nice high end, more than I need. I think it's probably a 1977 cab that used to house a Peavey Artist 240 amp.
