I saw this picture of a Charger at Dave's Guitar http://www.davesguitar.com/products.html?13256 and noticed that it did not have the same silver coned speakers that are in mine. I was wondering if maybe mine were replacement speakers or if perhaps Kustom used different speakers at different times.

Just curious.

Pedro,
I had a Charger at one time, but it did not have the original speaker.
I believe that the Charger came with a KEI speaker (Kustom-Eminence Integrated) that was probably 8 ohms.
I don't think that it had the silver center cap on the cone.
What brand of speaker is in your Charger?
What are the date codes on it?
With the Charger serial number and the speaker date code, I could probably tell you if it is possible that the speaker is original to the amp.
For example, my Charger was SN 100058, production date 3/19/73.
There is maybe a 75% chance that the original speaker was made 60 to 90 days prior to 3/19/73, which would be a speaker date code of between 7251 and 7303.

I don't know what brand of speaker is in it. I'll try and find out the serial # and speaker brand and post it.

I have seen the amp fitted both ways, with a CTS driver with standard voice coil cap, and with a latter CTS/KEI driver with the aluminum cap.
The cts code on the magnet will be 137, the kei code will be 038.
Of course some one may have up graded it to a Altec driver with a 391 code on its mounting lip, or a JBL driver with no code.
Both of these drivers will have a cast aluminum frame, while the others have a pressed steel basket.
