If you have a good electronics store close by, buy a Switchcraft 11 jack. Early on in amplifier production, everyone used switchcraft jacks and pugs including Kustom. They are still the best.

Hi, if after replacing the jack you still get intermitant output, confirm that your speaker cord is solid and the cabinet end jack is ok by feeding it with another amp. If that checks out you may have a bad solder connection on a board, or a loose conection on a output tranistor socket and the amp should be checked out by a tech. Question, if you listen close to the amp, is the normal hiss the amp makes intermitant also, if not than you probibly have a preamp problem and the output side problem you have been tracking down is false.
