Hello. Where could I get good quality 1/4" jacks like what Kustom used? I usually use Radio Shack jacks (not on the Kustoms, haven't had to replace them), but they don't seem to have as much hold on the jack as some others, especially with heavy speaker cables. I hear good things about Switchcraft stuff, is there anyway I can order some nice quality regular 1/4" jacks in bulk for a decent price? Thanks!

Someone (may have been the same guy was selling a pair of 2x15 Cascade cabs recently on eBay. They were being offered seperately, starting at $350 each (I think), and were up twice, and got no bids both times (seemed awfully steep to me). So you could use that as an upper limit.

Hello. I assume you meant to post this in the comment board where i asked this haha Laughing Yeah I saw those, but they had a mixed combo of Jensens, Altecs and a Cerwin Vega speaker between the pair. Thanks for the advice, have any suggestions for jacks though? Thanks again!

What you actually need for ALL the INPUT Kustom jacks, in every amp, are Switchcraft 13E jacks, and nothing else. These are correct and do NOT use anything else, particularily in the input side.

The input jacks are 13E and the output jacks are non-shorting 11. Switchcraft is the way to go. However Neutrik makes some really nice 1/4" isolated jacks if you need such a thing.

Hello. Any other good brands/resources for good 1/4" jacks? Just curious since the Radio Shack ones do work, but they just aren't as good as the ones they put on nice guitars and amps (such as Kustoms Razz) Thanks!

Yes...... go to www.mouser.com and type in switchcraft 13E or 11. That will get you good ones. Also, musiciansfriend sells the switchcraft #11 jacks for $2 each.

I need the input plates that the 1/4 inch jack mounts to. These said "Kustom" "CTS", "Jensen", etc...Does anyone have any of these leftover from dead pieces, etc.? They must have broken easily in the old days. I've seen many a cabinet in need of the plates of which I speak.HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rolling Eyes
