Hi,
If it is U100-P, that is a PA head.
Any of the U100 amps can be used for PA, bass, or guitar.

Production date is about July 1970.
Is it really in a tuck and roll cabinet?
They came from the factory in a cabinet covered in tolex, not tuck and roll.

The chassis size is exactly the same as a Kustom, so they will fit in a K100B-5 or K200 cabinet - they will fit backwards, or, if you remove the two "aluminum" bars, they will will fit frontwards.

Resale value seems to be less than the equivalent Kustom.
As usual, the condition is important.

Please post pictures if you can.

Hi,
That is a guitar head.
Those usually came in a combo amp.
(It is not a U100-P PA head)

Someone has put it in a ~1967 Kustom Frankenstein
tuck and roll cabinet.

Les
Thank you for the great in depth answer. I'm trying to sell the head on Craigs list for $100. Now I will be able to be more specific in it's description, thanks to you.
