These were my dad's. He was a pro guitarist and played out with them for many years.

Amp head model K250-4, S/N 105187
I think that means it was made in '73.

Cabinet models:
X2G+1H S/N S-40860
2G+1H S/N S-47426
Cabs stand about 4' tall and 2' wide.

I have the original foot switches (one with reverb and tremolo, one with fuzz and boost) and the boost pedal, P/N 071-0009-00.

They are in perfect working order. I shelled out a good bit having the amp head and cabs rebuilt in the early 2000s (the work was done by Inner Sound in Portand, OR). I've only used them a few times since.

The front of the cabs and amp head look great. The vinyl (I believe the naugahyde color is "Cascade") is in fair condition, mostly. There is a small blemish on the top of the amp head, and the cabs have some indentations in the vinyl on the top because stuff sat on top of them. The biggest blemish is the back of one of the cabs, where a large section of vinyl was torn away by one of my dad's band mates borrowing his stuff and not being careful enough with them.

I am now a mom and have come to terms with the fact that I will never need these. It's time to find them a good home where they will be loved and cherished.

I'm trying to figure out what they are worth, so any advice I can get from you guys would be of help.

Your lucky that you have the original foot pedals and the fact it is cascade. Those two things alone have really increased its value. If they were black and no pedals would be worth $250 for the head and maybe $300 to $400 for each cabinet. If the one cabinet has the built in amp........price I would think would be worth about $300 more just because they are so rare to fine. Since they are cascade and depending on the naugahyde condition, a collector might be willing to pay double the price. Hard to say since I don't know market values for you area.

Pleat or one of the other members on here I'm sure will be able to give you probably a better idea the value of your equipment. Many of us on this site would kill to have those cabinets and pedals alone......the pedals you just can't find anymore. Think you will be shocked at what you'll find out they are actually worth I'm betting.

Thank you for replying! I've been looking all over online and haven't been able to get any sort of idea. Really appreciate it. My dad had always said that they were the same kind John Fogerty used so I was disappointed to find they weren't, but it's good to know they are valuable!

Well, since the amp head is a later version that uses two seperate foot pedals, and not the lighted four button foot pedal that would not add much to the price. The earlier version heads used the really rare hard to find lighted foot switches. The Wah pedal is a plus. Since the cabinets have the Altec horns, that really isn't a real plus for a guitar player. They would probably disconnect the horns. The extra power cabinet is pretty rare with the built in power amp. Cascade is a great color. Condition is the biggest factor in price. Do you still have all the covers for the cabs and head? Handle inserts in tact and are the casters in working order? I think a big draw back is your location. Most of the kustom collectors are mostly from east of the Mississippi, so shipping would cost as much as the amp. Burns, tears and other damage to the Tuck and Roll will play into the value.
Best of luck,
pleat

Hello, wondering if you have sold your Cascade amp/speakers.Realize the original post is quite old, not expecting that you still have? I live in Portland, and would love to provide a good home for your equipment, should it still be available. Sincerely, David aka t-n-rkid

Hi Ciantara:
I'm interested in your rig. Does one of the speaker cabs have a booster module mounted in it?
I recently bought a 250-4 (with no speakers) for $500 so that's roughly what that part is worth.
the speakers can vary depending on how they're loaded. If they have JBL brand then they're worth
more (at least to me). I'm looking for a speaker cab that has the 350W 'booster' amp in it.
Hope you still have this equipment. I'm in Saint Augustine, Florida. Where are you located?
