Welcome to the forum. I don't know the answers for your questions, but try doing some searches for those items. I'm sure that some of them have been discussed and/or someone on here will help you as well. Cool

What is the serial number and color of your Charger?

The power output of the Charger is 75 watts RMS - so it is the same power as a Kustom 150.

The bulb you need is a GE335 - search for "pilot Charger" or
"VintageKustomFAQ3"

For the handle, check out the post near this one called "Replacement Handles" - a guy named Matt has some for sale.

Welcome to the site. A world of info and the greatest guys hang here. The light bulb is a miniture screw in style. If you can carefully remove the square blue lens, I have used surgical tubing to slip over the bulb and unscrew the bad bulb. Then use the tubing to install the new bulb and snap the lens back in place. If you can't get the blue lens out, then I'd remove the amp, remove the top cover and push out the lens cover from the inside of the amp. MAKE sure the amp is unplugged. Era of the amp is around 1971 or newer. The blue light assembly hasn't been made since 1975 so take care when trying to remove it, finding a replacement would be very hard to find.

Roaddawg,
Your Charger SN 95925 was made 01/02/73 plus or minus about 3 weeks.
If you send me the writing on the top front frame of your amp chassis, I can probably tell you the exact date of production.
(You have to remove the amp chassis and also remove the metal top cover of the amp to see this number.)

Congrats! I'm sure Craig on here is jealous. He loves those blue sparkly amps!

There's a K-200 set in NY on Staten Island for 400. Craig wanted it but for me to pick it up for him it would've been 4.5 hours. Ouch my eyes! =)

I know of 3 or 4 Chargers for sale ..ALL ARE BLACK.... I did talk to the guy In new York about the Blue K200 and He did agree to consider shipping it to Oklahoma...I'm sure if he calls I'll be temporarily broke!!!!! HA!!!!! ANOTHER HAPLESS VICTIM TO FEED TO FORWARDAIR!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!

I found it on craigslist, when I called about it I got no answer. I called 3 times a day for a week with no reply. I so I gave up on it I thought it must have been sold. Then my phone rang and the seller told me they had been out of town, but there was one person ahead of me to look at it. So I figured it would be gone, later my phone rang again the other guy offered them way less. I went and picked it up and when I got home I couldn't play it because our power was out (very frustrating). This thing is so beautiful I carry pictures of it with me .

Yeah ...she emailed me back and said they had a lot of response so I figured my chances of getting it were pretty much ZIP....I did offer to buy it at asking If they would ship it at my cost but She already had a meeting setup...maybe YOU!! I have seen maybe a dozon of these on Ebay but all are black like the one I own so I'm not suffering too greatly <sniff sniff>. I did manage to pick up this week a nice Charcoal K100-1 Head and 1-15CTS cab.
I have owned 4 Chargers over the years..all black. The one I have now has a Crate"eminence" speaker put in it and is the best sounding one of all of them and has the shiny Black rather than the dull plain black T n' R. It's a great little amp. It sounds absolutely stellar!!!!! ConGrats on the purchase... Now If I can get my agent to find me a K-150-6 in Gold........

ok i was tooling around looking for info on my kustom and saw you want a k-150-6. unfortunately i cant do gold. but i do have a nice sounding boring black one. it has a few battle scars. and needs the batting in the interior replaced. other than the batting and some scars for character its in decent shape. oops forgot it needs a light bulb go figure ..... if you think you might want it ...... send me an email make me an offer dont really want to sell it too bad but sending it to a home to be used and abused is what amps are for l.hawkinson@yahoo.com
