Alrighty, before I go any further I suppose I should state the obvious by saying I don't know jack diddly sh!t about hooking up any of this newfangled crap. I have a Tuck N Roll PA that I just got and absolutely love, and I also have a very nice 16 channel mixing board. Now, I'm a drummer, so I guess that makes me dumb by default when it comes to cords and electrical crap...so, what I'm trying to do is this:
1. Hook my drum mics up to my 16-channel non-powered mixer. Check. That's pretty much common sense. Now comes the part I'm clueless on:
2. Hooking my mixer to my PA system to power my speakers. I don't have a clue, and I don't have the manual to the PA. I know I hook it to the Main Mix Out on the mixer, but I don't know where or with what to hook into the PA to get my sound to come through my PA speakers.
Probably a really dumb question, so feel the need to ridicule me as you see fit as long as you can answer my question in the process.

The output of your mixer is line level, whet that means is it can output a good 1.4 volts or more.
If the main output slider on the board is marked in DBs, than their will be a zero mark up near the end of the sliders travel.
This zero mark is .775 volts output, now your Kustom PA heads input jacks only need about .200 volts to drive that head to its full 100 or 200 watt output dependant on which model you have.
So as you can see the output of your 16 channel mixer has more than enough power to blow out which ever channel on the Kustom you plug it into.
My suggestion would be to always turn your mixer on first while making sure that the mixers left and right output controls are set at zero, then plug it into the Kustom and open up the kustoms channel volume to 3 or 4, than crack open the output sliders on the board untill you reach the volume you need.
Just note that when thumpin on the bass drum and you hear a teribble distortion while the kustoms power on light goes down very dim, then you are driving the kustom with too much output from the board.
To get hook up the board to the Kustom you will most likly need a cable with a male XLR on one end and a mono/tip sleve 1/4 inch phone plug on the other, unless your board also has balanced 1/4" phone tip ring sleve type jacks. Then you will need a stereo cable that will have a tip/ring/sleve 1/4" on each end.
You mixer is most likly stereo, but the kustom is mono. so on the mixer I would pan everything to the right or the left and just use one output from the mixer.
Their is a way to incert a transformer inbetween the two units to lower the boards output to the kustom, but its more expensive!Just be real carefull with the output senders on the board!!

May be at this point you should confirm that the mixer works, and get a new cheap or used power amp so you take no chance on blowing the kustom.
These days even a new 300 or so dollar power amp has more wattage than the Kustom anyway!
