I`ve got a friend that will repair it, and he asked for the schematics. Would you please explain what you mean when you say "pc on the clipper board", and I will take a look. I don`t have much experience with amp-repair words. Thanks for answering and for a good site for Kustom fans!Smile

Kustom printed circuit boards, hence PC, are labled on the front side of the board facing the inside metal front of the amp (IE) like PC 105, or PC 105-1 for a revision.
The board will hve to be dropped off the inside face of the amp to see it most times, other times you can shine a strong light at the board while mounted and read it backwards.

Hey Gang.

Just joined the crew because I just purchased a 1970 K200B-1 W/ 2-15 CTS Cab. (I have been a Fender Fanitic since day one an this my first Kustom --- Sounds like a Dual Showman!)

I see there was a disaster with the hard drive crash. Any one got a Schmatic for the 200B-1?

Also there is what aperas to me an RCA jack on the upper right side of the rear of the head. Anyone know what that might be?(I've been too lazy to pull the back yet.)

While on the subject of Schmatics, I'm in Engineer and have a CAD system. If anyone has any of the Kustom schmatics at all I will gladly redo tham and send them back to the site in AutoCad .dwg and also PDF formats. Looks like after the big crash we all have to chip in and rebuild the libary.

If you give me a fax number I will get you a schematic(s)
The RCA jack is for a recording output or to feed another amp, I have never measured it but I do not think it will output +4db to fully power most power amps these days.
Oh, buy the way, welcome!

Hi!

I looked at my 200a4. The number (PC)on the clipper board is 402b. I hope that is correct, and you can help me with schematics.

Anyway, I spoke with the man, who is helping me with the amp. He is about 50 years old and have much experience with amps. He had never seen an old Kustom before (they are were rare in Norway),he was amazed of the high quality on this old transistor amp.I am only 26 years old, but I think the old Kustom is beautiful. I work hard to find the creedence sound. I use similar Gibson and Rickenbacker and I think think Kustom should have a lot of honour for the Fogerty/CCR sound. In comparison with other amps that Fogerty is using, I think the Kustom amp has the nicest sound. Kustom- that is the Fogerty sound for me, and I have played CCR since I was 14. So I would be very happy if you can help me.
Keep up the good work on this site.
