I have a K-200 lead head and the reverb is not working. Can this be fixed by me without too much trouble?

I took the amp open. There are no loose wires anywhere to the reverb. Howver the reverb does make the amp hum when its turned up.

Hi. Since you have the amp open here are two checks you can make.Turn on the amp with it hooked up to is speaker, turn up the reverb control to 5. Then bang on the reverb pan to rattle the springs inside. If you hear a crashing sound, then the output side of the pan and the reverb return amp ciruit are ok. If not unplug the cord that goes into the jack marked output on the pan and touch the tip of the RCA plug. You should hear a buzz just like if you touched your guitar cord with the volume up with out your guitar pluged in. If you get a buzz, but do not hear the springs crash on the bang test then the output side of the pan is dead.If you do hear a crash heres part 2.Unplug the cord that goes to the jack maked input on the pan, go to raido shack to get a adapter to go from RCA MALE TO A 1/4 inch guitar plug, and plug that into another amp and play thru the kustom if you hear it thru the other amp then the kustom is ok and the pan is bad.If you need a pan, go to the ampwares site, the one you need is part number 4ab3c1b its 30 bucks.
