I'm in a bit of a pinch, and I hope someone who knows more about this stuff than I do can help me out.

My main rig is getting repaired, and I have a show this Wednesday that I don't have an amp for. Here's what I can scrape together; I have an old Kustom Challenger which I believe is a puny 25W. I have a friend who has a Kustom 3x12 cab, but he doesn't have a head. Can I use the Challenger to run the 3x12? Or would that just be pointless?

Also, here's a pic of the speakers...

Are these bass speakers? The info I've found online thus far seems to indicate that they are, but I'm not too sure (not being an expert on these things). If so, would they still be effective with a guitar, or would the sound be ridiculous?

Also, my friend is looking to unload this cab and says I can have it for $150. Is that a worthwhile price?

Thanks in advance, and sorry about the long first post... Wink
