does anyone know anywhere i can take a k200b 1 to get checked out? it wont power up. the power cable has a groud so im thinking it may not be original.

Sorry, I was in joking mood yesterday.
Yes, if its got a three prong cord then that has been changed from the original.
The amp not powering up means the fuse inside has blown, and they do not blow for no reason.
More than likly the amp has one or more of its 4 output transistors shorted, and one or more of its 4 driver transistors gone also.
The powersupplys rectifier bridge may thave popped too.
It will not be a big cost parts wise to repair, naybe all of 30 dollars, but its about 2.5 hours in labor if someone goes thru it the right way and cleans all the controls/switches and jacks.
