i wanted to know because i have just recieved a kustom200 tuck n roll amp head i think its from the late 60's and i wanted to no if its a guitar amp head or bass?

Hi,
The K200B-1 and K200B-6 are considered bass amps but are fine for guitar.

The K200B-2, K200B-3, and K200B-4 are considered guitar amps.

The K200B-5 is a PA amp but again you can use it for bass or guitar.

And if it's not a B series amp, basically the same rules apply.

Any of these amps can be used for guitar, bass or vocals. The ones with no fx are more likely to be used as bass amps, but will work perfectly with guitars as well. The ones with reverb and trem are usually identified as guitar amps, but can be used with a bass as well.

There really are no major circuit differences in these heads that would make them instrument specific. Speaker choices would be an entirely different matter, as some speakers will perform better at different frequency ranges making them better for bass than guitar, etc.
