I have seen posts here on how to install 3 prong power cords and where to get replacement cords... But what guage of wire in the cord is best?

Also, I just acquired a 2nd black Kustom K100C-8
amp. Can anyone tell me the year of manufacture?
Serial # 46005

Also what device should I use to run my guitar into both amps? Some sort of Y cord ? And where would I find the device needed?

thanks,
Steve
