Has anyone found a source for the 1972 Kustom grill cloth with the silver thread running through it?

I wonder if Kustom used Mellotone or some other vendor as their grille cloth supplier?

I'm guessing that the Chanute factory did not use enough grille cloth to warrant having their own grille cloth design.

The black with silver thread was probably a standard grille cloth with some vendor.

If the grill cloth is not torn or ripped and just dirty, I take the complete baffle board to the car wash and power wash and rinse to bring it back to like new.

Pleat is right on the money here. I have taken them that were so smoke stained that you wouldn't know there was silver in there and used degreaser that I have, much like simple green and a soft scrub brush and take it to the car wash and spray it off and they are just like new. You can scrub the out side of the cab too and wipe it all down with a wet towel and you will not believe the yellow and brown smoke film that will come off from them. Smile

Didn't Fender at one time have a grille cloth that was similar?
