Well my somewhat informed guess would be this.
Being that they are from the K serise of JBL drivers and that they are 15" drivers and furthere more labeled Fender, that means their original home was in a Duel Showman cabinet.
Their impeadance should be 8 ohms if I am on track with this as the Duel Showmans output transformer was looking for a 4 ohm load.
JBL drivers used in Fenders where far more rare then in Kustoms, and a lucky ass freind of mine has not one, but two Fender black face super reverb`s with 4 JBL 10 incher`s each, and a Silver face Champ with a JBL 8 inch driver. It`s the only 8" JBL that I have ever seen in person in my 58 years on this globe!

Thanks guys. Not able to do pics just yet, however - the frames and magnets are the standard grey with the decal being orange and silver with this info on it - Fender signature speaker, MODEL D140F-6, James B. Lansing #970402, 16 ohm, serial numbers 10060 and 10064. They look brand new and after testing today, they sound superb. I've not checked with ohm meter yet. Kid that I bought it from didn't know anything about it except that his step-dad bought the rig new and it had been around the house forever. As mentioned, it's a CTS badged cab and the back panel screws are not correct. Other than that and the broken wheel, it looks real good. The 16 ohms would make sense with the 2 being together being 8 ohms like Bud like to do to get you to use 2 cabs. So far, really liking the cab. I'll get to the head later.
Thanks pleat for the reference on the wheels. Upon further examination, the remaining 3 are so wobbly, I'll need to replace all of them.
