At first glance, 500.00 might not be a bad price. They offered that cab from 71 until they converted to the hard tolex amps. I sold the K500 system that had the second cab with the power module in the back. I sold mine for 800, head and two cabs with covers in very good condition in 03. Killer amp to say the least, but size is a big turn off for most players, which offers the buyer a bit of leverage if you want to move a monster. Condition both cosmetic and electronics will determine value as well. Original speaker? Casters in good shape? Is the speaker cabinet an early model made from plywood or a later version that is particle board? Particle board cabs are really, really heavy. I guess you'd have to consider how close the amp is to you. Shipping one would at least double the price. I sold the Acoustic folded 18 version to a guy in the UK he paid 1380.00 in shipping charges and only paid 1200 for the amp and cabinet.
If it's something you want, I'd go for it, as I always say, you can't go the Guitar Center and order a new 40 year old Kustom Tuck and Roll amp.

BC, your right, I've used mine for subs on my PA. ran one cabinet each side of stage and ran 2x15 JBL Kustom cabs for the low mids and Peavey MF1X horn for the tops. I have some photo's of that set up. Kick drum 40 feet out had that punch you in the chest thump. Awesome cabs and not that hard to move with casters on everything.
