ok guys here's the update to answer some of the questions I"ve been getting... Those that have contributed the $75 for the cost will be considered show dealers and Jim Reynolds will have your name on the list for load in. Load in times are outside of show hours so plan on being there either Friday evening before the show closes at 8pm so you can work with Jim to get loaded in right afterwards...or by no later than 9am Sat morning to load in before the show opens. He is giving us the entire back wall so bring all the gear you want. Those that have not entered their $75 should plan to come as regular show attendees..so just proceed during normal hours on Sat to the main entrance and pay the regular fee (I think its $7 with a $1 discount if you bring an instrument). You can certainly use a handtruck to bring in a single rig during the show and add it to the kollection. Jim has advertised this effort to his dealers and urged them to bring kustoms as well...I have sent our money off to Jim...but am happy to receive any last minute contributors..we have enough..but if there is excess funds then they will be refunded evenly to all those that have paid in. I will have any refunds for you at the show. Jim Reynolds will have his cell phone and his office phone will be forwarded to his cell...feel free to call him at (619) 749-3616. Security at the show will also have your names for after hours work in case Jim can not be there at a certain time...looking forward to it...thanks to all of you for making this trip! ET!

one of our gang had some questions about my previous post and I wanted to be as clear as possible...the load in is in no way designed to exclude any of our group...wether you paid into this thing or not...I just needed to give the names of those bringing gear and needing the special load entry into the building after hours...if you are traveling from afar and not bringing gear...but want to join up on a load in...by all means come on...I'm sure the extra back is always welcome..for example.. I believe BC will be arriving earlier on Friday and will be able to load in that evening...whereas myself will be getting in very late that Friday nite so I would plan to load in Sat morning...the only real issue is that the show insurance folks don't want loads going on once the attendees are there and the show is "open to the public"...thats why we are providing a load in list to the show..this also protects our gear cause they are not going to let folks in after hours unless they are the owners of the amps...but not to worry...get there sometime on Friday during the show and enjoy it as an attendee...then hang with any of our amp totin buds during their load in...and yes.. I would expect there will be dealers there looking to snag a kustom or two....but as for me...nothing gets sold unless my kustom buds get first shot at it....btw...so you can be prepared.. here is the list of items that I am thinking of selling..its a short list...my cascade (mint) 595 head and matching hi freq 2x10 cab...fresh reconed CTS propers in there... my silver (white..really mint) wide panel head (545 old hand scribed serial number)...my charcoal PA400 head..total rework on the electronics..strong player...rare mono rig...pair of 4x8 columns in kool black..nice...thats about it...all the other gear is on display...and represents my life's desire...hope this clears up any worries...ya'll please know that there is no exclusions to anything we are doing...this is a non-profit event just intended to get us all together, see the amps, enjoy Bud, and hug some cyber necks...you guys have meant so much to me..its added a tremendous amount to this whole collecting thing..and I've actually enjoyed watching many of you on the hunt and snag of some of these treasures..I see you get so excited..and I know full well that feeling...its about as cool as spending the money myself... I'm very happy with my collection so there's been little envy and a lot of enjoyment watching the action among the rest of the group...ok..'nuff mush...ya'll best be polishing them rigs... I gotta get home and do the same...Play Loud...ET!

ET, you've done a MAGNIFICENT job on all this and I think it would be a safe bet to say that I speak for all us in saying " THANK YOU " for all you've done. Like you I can't wait to meet in person these nutty kollectors that until a few years ago, I thought that I was pretty much alone in my love of these tuck & rolls. I'm going to switch my reservation to the HI later today and my Dad is going to meet me at the hotel ( or maybe the airport ) when I arrive. He'll bring along my K200A Zebra finish guitar and I'll have the banner and a kat. My only questions now are that will we be able to hang at the display most of the time ? Do we need our own chairs ? and have we considered a group dinner Saturday evening after the show ? I've also arranged to bring along a digital camera to capture the event. Bottom line, 10 days and counting.

thanks for the kind words...as far as hanging...we are all welcome to hang all day during show hours...there is some question about staying after hours because the dealer tables and gear would be exposed and security may not allow us to do that...the Holiday Inn has a meeting room ($150) if we want that for Sat nite...but it'd be just an empty room so I was suggesting we all find a nice big family steakhouse type restaurant..they always have a big back room where we can pull together tables and make noise and the food would be affordable...just a thought... I'm always open to anything...frankly I ain't planning to even sleep Sat nite as long as there are guys to hang with...ET

I agree - We owe ya one ET! One more bit of info - I talked to Jim Reynolds about Friday load in times - We can also get in from 10 AM to 3 PM Friday - I don't know if that effects anyone but me - But thought I'd let ya know. ONE MORE WEEK!! Jc
