A year ago a friend gave me a Kasino 400 (says u-200 on power head) and it has signs of age. The cabinet is like new except a few missing knobs. Anyway the power lamp doesn't work, doubt I can use a LED in its place so I need a bulb size. All of the pots are dodgy, have to twist them around a bit to get them working. I want to replace the pots if possible, I tried cleaning them and it didn't help let alone made things worse so now if I change the bright or select tone it will scream at high volume. I'm handy with a soldering iron so I can easily fix it but I have no idea on the taste of the pots. Any help would be great.
Oh, any chance on a pinout for the footswitch would be great as well.

What did you use to clean the pots? DeoxIT seems to be the best for cleaning pots. Cleaning the pots should not make them worse, I would think, unless your just moving the gunk around more.
Bill or Steve can give you the bulb info, as well as recommendations for your pot problem.

I'm not that familiar with the Kasino models, so if you give us a better description we may be able to help out more. Pleat may chime in here and help us all. Is this one like a tuck and roll model with 4 channels, 4 inputs all on the front panel?
As for the pots, I would suggest that you try and clean them with some Caig DeoxIt before you try and replace them. Unless they have been physically damaged in some way, these old pots will be better than anything that you can find to replace them with.
Look at the pc boards and try to find the etched in number of the board, like PC803 or something. Then you can go to the technical section and look up the schematics.
If the pilot light is a standard bayonet bulb, then the number you need is a #1829. You can use an led to replace the bulb, but you will need to change the dropping resistor value to make it work.

thanks for the info on Deoxit, ive never heard of it. Thats the one thing (luckily) that sometimes causes me problems in my Kustoms. I dont play them constantly and the pots build up some nasty dust and short out until they are exercised.
