Hi all -
Just got a K200A-4 with harmonic clipper... hooke dup a jumper to footswitch jack to check it out and my first impression is hey, it's kinda cheesy. Would like your feedback on how good you think it is, settings for best tone, etc. - maybe mine isn't 100% up to spec?? thanks for all past and future help!! iggy

Yeah, kinda cheesy! But a true fuzz tone none the less, changes sine wave to square wave real good (clipping the curved part of the signal). Limited to 60's acid rock guitar (Spirit In The Sky, etc).
However, as a bass player I have found it to be one of the best fuzz bass sounds ever, especially when splitting the signal to also go into the Normal channel as well. The Normal channel gives a great clean bottom end while the Harmonic Clipper takes you the rest of the way there! Great for live gigs when set-up properly.
Selective Boost leaves much to be desired for bass, very limited uses on a live gig. In the studio it's an OK filter for the "How the hell did he get that tone?" megaphone type special effect, Great for guitar though (especially those without wah pedal or don't know how to get the honk tones from a half cocked wah).
