Hi all! I am wondering what the 100 heads work best with, as far as speaker cabs and ohms. Is a 8 ohm load a factory thing? Is it alright to use a 4 ohm rated cab? Can you hook up 2 cabs to this head and how do I do it? What do all you guys do in this regard? Thanks a lot.

We need a litle more information. Are you playing bass or guitar? Is it a PA head?
The K100-1 and K100-2 are small compared to the K100-5 PA head which is the same physical size as the 200 series amps. As far as tone goes, you can use these amps in any application and they work well. Use Jensens for guitar and CTS cabinets for bass. I believe the 100 series was designed with 8 ohm cabinets in mind....but I like the sound of a 4 ohm load on all my Kustoms and so far I have not fried one because of the load. BC
