Hello:

I recently bought a Kustom TR12L practice amp. I think it was a forerunner to the Dart '66 practice amp. The original "Kustom" 6.5-inch speaker is still there and sounds good for its size.

I've just added an extension speaker jack which disables the internal speaker. My 1 x 12" cabinet improves the sound greatly.

There is no indication on the Kustom internal speaker how many ohms it is. Can someone tell me the ohm rating for this internal speaker?

Thanks!http://i946.photobucket.com/albums/ad310/Huskerbay/Kustom%20Amp%20Images/Kustom_TR12_color_ad.jpg

SteveM:

Thanks for the speaker impedance info! It's a relief to know the amp and extension speaker impedance match properly.

My extension cabinet has an 8 ohm Celestion 12" G12-M70 speaker. The little Kustom TR12L sounds much richer when I use the extension.

Best regards,
