Hey guys, so I am new to this K150-8SC Plexi Combo.
Here are my questions/ concerns.
1) When you turn main power on, with nothing plugged in to it or no volume up , you can hear a power hiss, sorta low frequency. Is this normal?
2) When you rotate the reverb on you get a hum. The reverb seems to be working but the hum is too annoying to leave it on.
The only thing I've changed is the two prong power chord to a three prong chord. Followed the directions on here, removed the orange drop capacitor and re-soldered the wires. I had the reverb tank unplugged and removed to change the power chord, everything looked ok.
Any help before I take it to the shop for servicing?
