Hi everyone,
I'm trying to get a Kustom cab back in shape. It's black t 'n r, chrome ports and it has a JBL D 140F 15" speaker and a radial paging horn. The driver for the horn or the capacitor that acts as a crossover are toasted.
Does anyone have experience repairing these and/or a parts source for driver components and the correct value for the capacitor?
Thanks very much.

Hi, If this is the original cast aluminum horn the driver will bolt or screw on, in the bolt on driver was an altec lasning item and you can just replace the diaphragm. If its the screw on driver I forget if its rebuildable.
A compete screw on driver can be had from parts express, a diaphragm can be purchased from orange county speakers. for the crossover cap you will need the MFD value off the cap and a place like mouser electronics wiil have it, I would go with a voltage rating of atleast 20 volts more than your original one.
