Hi blazer,
Before paying $600, I would test it really good.
Make sure each of the six speakers works OK.
Make sure the tuck and roll is in good shape; watch for fading and discoloration which can happen to the charcoal color.
Make sure all controls including the reverb work on each channel. I believe the K600 has two amplifiers 150 watts RMS each - make sure both amps work.
Make sure it plays loud and clear.
Also check to make sure the hiss with the volume all the way down is not too bad - a little is normal for Kustoms.
This is the metal face series - which is a little quieter noise-wise than the older plexi front models - I have owned two metal face amps and they had less hiss than the plexis.
Keep in mind the K600 amp and the 3x15 cabs are very heavy - not the most portable set made.
For me, my "first" Kustom was a K100 2x10 combo...weighed 45 lbs.
Are you using it for guitar? ...bass? ...vocals?
For more info, search this site for K600, or even just 600.
